In a bowl add the juice from 1/2 of a lemon, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 2 teaspoons of sweet almond oil, 1 teaspoon of honey, 4 to 6 drops of Lavender essential oil, 3 to 4 drops of Geranium essential oil and 2 drops of Lemon essential oil. Essential oils can be purchased online, at health food stores and natural pharmacies.

Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly.

Slowly add approximately 3 tablespoons of plain oatmeal. Stir the ingredients continuously while adding the oatmeal.

Scoop out the exfoliating body scrub with your fingers and apply it to your skin. Rub the body exfoliator in using a circular motion.

Spend a little extra time on dry elbows and knees. Rub extra into very dry, rough areas of your skin to make them silky smooth.

Rinse the exfoliating body scrub off in a warm shower.

Pat your skin dry.

You can increase or decrease the ingredient amounts proportionately depending on how much exfoliating body scrub you want to make.

Do not store the body scrub, make a fresh batch each time you want to exfoliate your skin.

Depending on how dry your skin is, skin exfoliation once per week should be sufficient to keep your skin smooth, silky and free of dry, white flakes.
