One common ailment that afflicts many women every day is back and shoulder pain. This can be caused by an underlying medical issue, but in many cases it is simply nature taking it's course, combined with some bad habits that develop over the years. The main factor behind a lot of women's back pain is the gift that god gave them, large breasts or being a full figured woman, or sometimes both. If they are not kept in shape and conditioned over the years, they begin to weaken and you begin to feel the strain in your back.

This can also lead to poor posture, or in some cases poor posture can be the cause. At some point it becomes a chicken and the egg kind of riddle. The postural muscles are the same ones that work to support your chest, and they work together with the skeletal system to keep things in line.

So what can you do to fix your improper posture and back pain? One easy thing to do is get yourself a good posture bra, or many of them, so that you can wear them daily. They provide a lot of extra support for the chest, as well as help align your posture.

However this is only a temporary fix, albeit one that can produce dramatic changes quickly. If you want to make a prolonged change for a better and healthier back then you all need to work on strengthening those muscles. There are a number exercises that you can do in the comfort of your own home everyday that will work. They can be done in a very short period of time with little or no weights to start.

If you combine the two of these things, you will be well on your way to fixing your posture and relieving that back pain that maybe plaguing you everyday.
