The idea behind selling on eBay is to make money selling items that you normally couldn't sell unless you are a storefront or have a niche. That being said, eBay sellers are finding that they can't always spend enough time plumping up the ads and getting them out so they look for ways to cut corners. This means you make money as you don't spend hours on the ads but the sales still keep coming in.

Things You Will Need

eBay Account

eBay Items

Step 1 Consider what you are selling and how essential it is to the public to have an photo of the item. Sometimes a spade is a spade. This is especially true for those items that don't need more than a description. Tickets, rocks and even toilet lids don't need a photo unless you have a special pattern you are promoting. You could put up stock images for the items or services but that isn't essential either.
Step 2 Consider how the image could be reproduced and VIOLATE eBay policy! This point is very important if you are deciding to post coupons or gift certificates. Those dishonest people can easily blow up your photo, print it out and use it. For codes and other coupons, your ad could actually be removed if the image is too clear
Step 3

Consider the photos you have are not 'quality' viewings. While you may have taken pictures, the photos you have available are crappy looking and unappealing. It is better to not post photos on your ebay articles than post terrible photos.

Step 4 Consider how much time you save not putting up a photo of an understood item. This means you have an extra 10 minutes to put up another post or find yourself doing something more productive.

In closing photos on eBay ads are optional. Just like those things in life that are optional, it means you can or cannot have a photo and folks will respond accordingly.
