How to Become a Great Leader
Great leaders are not born, or bred. Being a leader is a learned attribute. The ability to attract followers is the ability to lead but it does not mean you are great. Hitler was a leader but he was not great, he led through terror and tyranny. To be a great leader you must attract people through loyalty and respect. This is a hard road to travel.
Things You Will Need
Charisma, Confidence, Caring, Consistency
Step 1
On the path to being a great leader you must first become a leader. To do this you must possess confidence. Confidence is a quality that all leaders possess, whether they are great or terrible. Confidence is a necessity but it can also be a hindrance. If you are cocky, or excessively confidence, this will drive people away.
Step 2
Charisma is a necessary trait of a leader. This can be a daunting thought if you believe that charisma is associated with looks. Words are far more powerful than looks when it comes to being a leader. You have the ability to affect people lives and they will look past someone good looks if you have something better to say.
Step 3
After becoming a leader, you must keep your people loyal to you. The first part of being a great leader is to exhibit consistency. Treat the same actions from different people consistently. You should reprimand where deserved and reward as well. This will prove to your people that you are fair in both consequence and praise.
Step 4
A great leader must care for their people. If you truly care for your people then you will act in their interest. If you act in the interest of 1000 people then 1000 people will act in your interest.
Step 5
Be positive. Positivity and negativity are both contagious. You will need to exude positivity to increase the productivity of you people. Happy workers are productive workers.
