The first thing you need to know to do Weight Watchers on your own is your daily Weight Watchers point allowance. Things You Will Need
The first thing you need to calculate is your gender. If you are male start with 8 points, if you are female start with 2 points.
Step 2Next add points to that score based on your age. If you are 17-26, add 4 Weight Watcher points. If you are 27-36, add 3 Weight Watchers points. If you are 37-46, add 2 Weight Watchers points. If you are 47-58, add 1 Weight Watchers points. If you are over 58, then do not add any points. For example, if you are a 31 year old female, at this point you would have 2 points for being female and 3 points for being 31 for a total of 5 points.
Next add points to your current total based on your weight. To do this, take the first two digits of your weight. For example, if you weigh 183 pounds you will add 18 points to your previous total. For our 31 year old woman that means currently she gets 23 Weight Watchers points daily.
Step 4The last step is to adjust this total based on your normal activity level. This is related to exercise but instead to how you spend most of your day. If you spend most of your day sitting down, add 0. If you spend most of your day on your feet walking around, add 3 Weight Watchers points. If you do difficult physical work most of the day, add 6 Weight Watchers points. So for our 31 year female, who weights 180 pounds, and spend most of her day walking around, her daily Weight Watchers point allowance would be 26 points.
