By Edited Sep 20, 2016 3 7

If you have spent time online then you know that to truly be successful you need to utilize backlinks. This is a lesson that many Internet writers learn very quickly as they explore different forums looking for ways to increase their earnings.
Once you start creating backlinks to your many pieces of content, the confusion will begin to set in. What confusion is that? It is the task of trying to keep up with the work that you are doing for each article. To really make money online, you need to create many backlinks to each article. One or two is just not going to cut it any more. This is why creating a backlinks tracking sheet is so important. With a program like excel or google docs, you can organize your work and truly increase your wealth.
Step One
Open up a new spread sheet in the program of your choice. There are pro's and con's to any of the program choices that are available out there. One nice aspect to a program like google docs to creat a backlinks tracking sheet is that you can access it from any computer that has Internet access. This can come in very handy when it coms to the mobile writer.
Step Two
Label the first column of your backlinks tracking sheet as articles. You need to make the width of this column at a comfortable space to fit a title of your content. When tracking your backlinks, you can use a smaller version of your title as long as you can recognize it.
Step Three
Make the next column where you will indicate where your content is published. If you work on making money online at multiple sites, then you are definitely going to want to do this. You can label the column as home or any other term that refers to where the piece lives. This column will end up being smaller then your first one.
Step Four
For the rest of the columns for your backlinks tracking sheet, you will want to label them with the names of the sites tat you use to create backlinks to make money online. These columns should be the smallest yet. It may be a good idea to create abbreviations for each site that you use. An example for this would be to use IB for Info Barrel.
Step Five
List all of the content on the sheet that you plan to create backlinks for. You may want to start out with a small manageable number. Trying to create backlinks for your entire library can be an overwhelming task.
Step Six
Place an X, in the column for each backlink that you create for an article that corresponds to the site that it is on. Continue until you have created backlinks for all of your content. This will take time to do. Just remember that building revenue online is a process and not a race. You can add new backlink sites to this sheet as you come across new ones that you like.
