If you are wondering how to do social bookmarking, it's good to know what the best and most popular sites are to do it. Here you can share your blog article and get free exposure to your work - increasing your chances of making more money.  Many of the best social bookmarking websites are free to use and also simple to use. Below I will list my own personal strategy after posting an article on InfoBarrel as well as some of the best and most popular sites for social bookmarking.

What I Do After Posting an InfoBarrel Article

This process may seem like a pain in the neck to do but I've done it so many times that it's become automated.

I don't do this for every single article, just articles that I think can really benefit from it. I've always seen at least 10 instant views on my article after using this strategy as well, which has sometimes led to an immediate click or Amazon sale.

Here's my strategy after writing an article online:

1)  I tweet the article to 300+ follwers on Twitter.

2)  Post to Facebook (only sometimes, if I want people to see it. Some article I don’t want friends to see for several reasons).

3)  Post on Digg, Stumbleupon, Folkd, etc.

4)  Post a new story on Bubblews with a link back to IB story.

5)  Submit a new story on EzineArticle with link to IB story (only sometimes).

6)  Add a new link for the story to previously written articles on InfoBarrel or other sites.

7)  Post on a forum or message board on related topics (with a link usually attached on my screen name).

8) Post link to RedGage and BarlRol.

9) Create a Squidoo lens on a related topic (if possible).

Everybody has different sites they like to post to, but these are just the ones I like.

Some of the sites, like Bubblews and Redgage, will pay you for your content in the process. So you are not only creating a social bookmark/backlink to your article, you are making some extra money on content you've already written!

For People Searching for Stuff - Social Bookmarking Makes it Easier to Find

I think that Social bookmarking also benefits normal people searching for stories or content. Instead of searching for something in Google and coming up with 5 million results, a person can simply go to a website like StumbleUpon or Digg and narrow down what they are looking for rather quickly.

Bubblews - Consistent Money Maker

This is one social bookmarking site that is becoming pretty popular because of how quickly you can make money on it. It's unique because you get paid for every view, like and comment done on your post - so there are many chances to make some money.

It's also great because you don't have to write a 400+ word article to post - you can post very short articles and you can also link back to articles you've written on other sites like here at InfoBarrel. So you can create a nice link to your story AND make some extra money in the process!

Check out Bubblews here.

Digg - Easiest Site Ever

I really like Digg because unlike sites like StumbleUpon where you have to fill out a bunch of stuff to post, you can simply submit your like and you are done!

This is another good site to post your links and make some extra money at the same time. You won't make as much money here as you do on Bubblews but it's still worth it.

This is a site that's better to post individual photos on as well, especially if you like to take photographs (of anything). If you are chosen to get featured you get bonus money - I've seen people get $4 instantly just by getting featured.

Delicious - One Site I Haven't Tried Yet

This is another popular social bookmarking site that allows you to showcase your work. They were founded in 2003 and it is free to use. I just haven't gotten around to starting an account but I should definitely look into it.
