Things You Will Need

  • 12 large strawberries
  • 2 tbsps. olive, sunflower or grape seed oil
  • 1 tbsp. coarse (kosher or sea) salt
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Blender or potato masher
  • Spatula
  • Bowl
  • Measuring spoons

Thoroughly was the strawberries to be used to exfoliate skin. Pat them dry and then cut them into quarters. Add them to your blender and blend just until they look "mushy". You can also mash them by hand.

Use a measuring spoon and measure out two tablespoons of the oil of your choice. Add the oil to the blender or bowl. Use a light oil such as olive, extra virgin olive, sunflower or grape seed oil.

Use a measuring spoon and measure out one tablespoon of your choice of a coarse salt. You can use Kosher or sea salt. Add the salt to the blender or bowl.

Put the lid in the blender. Turn on and mix the strawberry skin exfoliating mixture thoroughly.

Smooth the mixture on your skin to gently exfoliate during your skin care routine. Work your way over the area to be exfoliated in small, circular motions.

Thoroughly rinse skin and pat dry. Your freshly exfoliated skin will feel dewy fresh.

Monitor your skin for any signs of an adverse reaction such as redness, rash, flaking or other signs of irritation. If these occur, thoroughly rinse your face again with cool water.
