How to Fall Asleep Quickly
How to fall asleep quickly? If you want to not only fall asleep fast, but get quality sleep without any side-effects, you're going to have to make lifestyle changes. This would include exercising about 4 hours before your bed-time and eating less. Although you'll need to make these changes sooner or later, if you have insomnia and need to get to sleep now, sleeping pills are the way to go. Just keep in mind that you can't use them for the rest of your life. Sooner or later their effect is going to wear off or you may become addicted to them. Over the counter sleeping pills are generally not as effective as those you can get from your doctor. Prescription sleeping pills usually come in two forms, benzodiazepines and nonbenzodiazepine. Benzodiazepines are for those who have severe insomnia. You will get to sleep after taking this drug, but it will be a light sleep. In other words, you'll wake up tired because your sleep wasn't deep enough. Nonbenzodiazepine drugs have similar risks and side effects of benzodiazepines. Although there are many herbal or natural sleeping pills advertising themselves online you should be very weary of their claims. You should always speak to your doctor before taking sleep aids. Although life styles changes are necessary, here are some things you can do know if you don't have a sleeping pill near you
Dim or turn off your lights an hour or so before you go to sleep. This will get you in a relaxed and falling asleep mood.
Don't drink caffeine!
Read a book or watch some really boring television.
