You know that there are romance stories online. It is common sense... EVERYTHING is online. But you don't want to wade through pages and pages on Google and then through the various sites that look promising but in reality may house substandard fare. I understand because that is exactly what I did to prepare for this article. It isn't fun. Just when you think you have found a perfect site, it turns out you have to make an account or pay a subscription to read the full story. So I am here to help. Here are some tips on how to find the best online romance stories.

First: you must know what type of romance story you are looking for. Merely searching " romance book" or "online romance novel" or "online romance" yields far too many results. So narrow it down. Maybe you want historical romance stories, or sci-fi/fantasy... Whatever you prefer, use that in your search terms. Searching for "online historical romance stories" will provide you with what you are looking for much faster.

Second: actually read that short description under the link. Read the website name too. If the description is an excerpt from a story, that's probably a good bet that the site will be a good one. If it says something like "read romance novels here" or "thousands of online romance books" it won't necessarily house the best stories the Internet has to offer... In some cases you can find a real gem on one of those sites but it is much more difficult. If he web address for the site doesn't contain too many numbered and letter combinations, it tends to be easier to use as well, from what I have found.

Third: make use of online forums. You will want to do this separately from your search. Online discussion sites, including Yahoo! Answers on a good day, can be terrific resources for finding good websites and good online authors. If you find a forum that is romance based, then it will be even easier to find something you like. Then, once you've gotten the hang of online romance novels site finding, be sure to share your discoveries for other readers.

Fourth: don't expect to find anything right away. It might take a few refinements if your search terms to get exactly what you're looking for. Don't be discouraged, it is out there! The Internet is a vast place and Google isn't a mind reader. Some people get discouraged when their search terms don't yield results on the first page. If this is the case, don't go on to the second page. Change your search terms and try again.

Good luck!
