How to Get Clear Skin Naturally

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

You can get clear skin by following a diet that is healthy. There really is no need to pay out hundreds of dollars for skin care products that can actually do more harm than good to your skin. As the largest organ of a human body, skin care should be addressed from the inside out as the first steps towards having healthy and clear skin.

Eat plenty of bright, deeply colored vegetables such as spinach, greens eggplant and berries of all kinds. Omega 3 fatty acids from foods such as fish will also assist in achieving clear skin. Foods such as nuts, whole grains, spices and olives are also beneficial additions to add to your diet. Oils such as sunflower, peanut, olive and flax seed should be used also and can pull double duty as natural and home made skin care product ingredients.

Limit your use of starchy vegetables such as potatoes. Sugar, alcohol, caffeine, processed foods, processed meat and saturated fats are also bad for your overall health and your skin. Surprisingly, bananas, oranges and the majority of fruit juices are also not conducive to achieving clear and healthy skin.

Say no to, and avoid, foods that are high in high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated vegetable oil. Dairy products are also not good for your quest to have clear skin. While milk may be a favorite natural skin care ingredient, it isn't useful when ingested. Make sure to drink the appropriate amount of water on a daily basis to help your skin stay healthy and clear.
