When you buy discount tickets to Hershey Park, you enter the park with a sweet treat handed out by the greeters and an even sweeter deal in your wallet.
Hershey Park, an amusement park which calls itself “The Sweetest Place on Earth”, is located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, right near the Hershey Chocolate factory. The park is 110 acres of fun with more than 60 rides and attractions, a water park and boardwalk area, and eleven roller coasters. With nine different themed sections, ZooAmerica, Chocolate World, and a lot of shopping and dining, spending a day or more at Hershey Park makes for a lot of wonderful family memories.
But who wants to pay full price for their fun?
Here is how you can buy discount tickets to this venue.

1. Go to the Hershey Park website and check out the deals they have.
If you are planning to visit other attractions in the area, Hershey Park offers special “sunset” tickets that let you go to the park for anywhere between 3-5 hours at a reduced price. Another offer they have is that if you buy a ticket for the next day 2.5 hours before the park closes, you get the shortened visit for free. There are also combo tickets if you plan on visiting other nearby attractions as part of you vacation.

2. Plan your vacation with other families.
Groups get discounts of up to 40% as long as you have 20 people or more in your group. You can look on-line or call Hershey directly at 1-800-242-4236, Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM for more details.
3. Go to your Automobile Club of America (AAA) and buy your tickets there or online.
If you want to go in person, call ahead and check if they have any there. If not, they can direct you to a AAA location in Pennsylvania to buy them.
4. Go to the local Giant supermarkets and buy your discount tickets for Hershey Park.
I did this a few years ago and saved quite a bit of money. No matter where you are traveling, it is always a good idea to go where the locals are and ask them where to buy discounted items. They would know best.
5. Hershey Park is partners with Subway and Wawa (a convenience store chain).
Go to these locations to pick up your coupons for discount tickets to Hershey Park. These coupons have coupon codes for on-line purchases, or you can bring them to the park and get your discount when you get there.

6. Military Discounts
The Military Appreciation Discount is available to active duty military, reserves, retired military personnel, and members of the National Guard. Guests must purchase tickets or obtain coupons from their base prior to arriving at the park.
7. Attend a Concert
If you purchase concert tickets at select concert venues, you can purchase discounted  tickets for the day before, the day of or the day after a concert (or all three). You must present you ticket stub if you want to buy tickets at the special price.

8.  Coupon Codes 

If you are buying your Hershey Park tickets in advance, go to retailmenot.com and look for active promotional coupon codes.  They have the most up-to-date ones that work, as people who use them report back on if they are active or not.

9. Kidstuff Book

Coupons can be found in the Kidstuff coupon savings book.  This is sold by many schools as a fundraiser.

10.  Stay and Play Discounts

There are offers at nearby hotels, including the Hershey Lodge and Hershey Hotel, which offer free admission to children and other freebie when you stay on their premises.  Look for offers at each hotel's website.

11. Corporate Discounts

Companies with over 500 employees are eligible for a special discount for those who work for them.

12.  Consignment Program

Smaller companies can buy 50 tickets at a reduced price and they can pass the savings for the employees.  Any unsold tickets can be returned to Hershey.
