Zits are a nuisance to almost everyone. They clog up your pores and cause very unsightly blemishes on your skin and can quite painful. This is why I am sure you are looking for a way to get rid of them quick, probably overnight.

The key is to know that not everything will work overnight and sometimes can take up to three days to take full effect. As long as you know and understand this so that you won't be too disappointed then you can start trying things. The issue with me being able to give you one size fits all advice for how to get rid of zits literally overnight is that everyone has different skin. What works some one person may not work for you as fast or maybe at all.

This is probably one of the most common ways of getting rid of zits overnight. It involves putting a good-sized dot of toothpaste on the zit and sleep with it on. Toothpaste is made to kill germs so it will get rid of the germs in the pores, while the menthol or the tingly stuff will tighten the pores. This tightening of the pores will squeeze out the oils and not allow more pimples to form.

For the most part this works for a lot of people for getting rid of zits literally overnight, however if it doesn't work the first time it is because you probably have a really bad one and you will need a second or a third application to completely get rid of it.

Cucumber Juice

If you have time throughout the day I suggest rubbing in some cucumber juice, this stuff will shrink your pores and aid you in not getting any new zits through the night. As well as this shrinking should cause some of your pimples to start to go down. Remember to wash it off gently though when you are done. You don't want to get rough with your skin.

If All Else Fails

Go get some Benzoyl Peroxide if none of that works. You should wash your whole face 3 times a day and continue to try the toothpaste trick. Remember to start with the lower strength product though first because you don't know if you are allergic to it or not. If it turns out that you are breaking out from it, then you should visit your doctor and he can prescribe some other solutions for you.
