You have an important event coming up in a couple of months and you're desperate to get your hair longer, fast! Well you've come to the right place to learn about all they ways of growing hair. To begin, there is no "overnight" method to growing your hair fast. So while there are certain foods and supplements that you can take which can hasten your hair's growth cycle, you'll never, ever see results of 1 inch of hair growth in one night. When you're trying to grow your hair you have to make sure you're living and eating healthy. The vitamins and minerals that you take daily play a major role in keeping your hair healthy and happy. If you're short on any of your necessary nutrition you can end up causing hair loss or even complete baldness. Also, on the opposite side of the spectrum, when you practice healthy living and eating habits, you're hair will look radiant and healthy looking.

When you keep your body in good health, you can look into some very useful supplement programs that have been proven to grow hair. With the proper blend of amino acids and B vitamins, you have enhance your hair's growth cycle tremendously. Beta-carotene is also an essential ingredient to growing your hair. When your body requires vitamin A, it converts beta-carotene which ultimately helps with your body's growth (from you bones and nerves, to healthy skin, and of course hair!). You can find beta-carotene in green and yellow vegetables and fruits.

Protein is another important part of a diet designed for fast and healthy hair growth. The hair on your body is made out of protein and so it'd be common sense that the protein content of your diet can impact the health and growth of your hair. Some foods that are excellent sources of protein are fish, eggs, beans, and yogurt. Research has also shown that soy proteins are also able to increase the growth of hair.

Stress, for example, is a prime candidate to slowing down the growth and causing significant health problems to your hair. If you're under a lot of stress, you should consider a program in your life designed to reduce and eliminate that stress. Mediation is a good option for reducing stress. Besides impacting how fast your hair grows, too much stress in your life can cause a lot of problems to your health and your frame of mind.

When looking at your lifestyle, there are a lot of things that you probably do every day that unintentionally retard their hair's growth. Some things you can cut out of your lifestyle to grow hair faster are to cut out soda's, caffeine, and smoking. Besides some other health benefits you get from cutting those things out, your hair will grow much faster and healthier when you throw those 3 things out of your day.

Unhealthy amounts of sleep can also slow down the growth of your hair. Experts say that for best results with hair growth, you need to have at least seven to nine hours of sleep per night.

So as we come to the conclusion of this article, I'll remind you of the important things that will grow your hair faster.

  1. You cannot grow your hair 1 inch overnight. If someone says otherwise they're just trying to scam you out of your money.
  2. Eat, drink, and live for a healthy lifestyle.
  3. Make sure you are getting plenty of the nutritional elements: amino acid, B-vitamins, and beta-carotene, which are essential for healthy and fast hair growth.
  4. Since hair is made out of protein, a diet rich in protein will also aid in growing hair fast.
  5. Cut out stress. Stress is very bad for the health of your body and hair.
  6. Don't smoke, drink coffee (or other sources of caffeine), and drink carbonated sodas. Those 3 things are bad if you're looking for optimum hair growth and health.
  7. Get plenty of sleep every night. You want to have around 7 to 9 hours of sleep.
