How to Install Battlefield 3 Premium on Multiple Consoles

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Battlefield 3 premium service is now available on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Many people are unaware that Sony allows users to share content purchased from the Playstation Store on two consoles. This article provides a simple explanation to installing the premium service on two playstation 3 consoles.

Four Steps To Installing BF3 premium on two Playstation 3 consoles

1. Sign in to your account on the first playstation console.

2. Buy and install the premium service from the Battlefield 3 in-game store.

3. Log in to your account on the second playstation console.

4. Open the in-game store and install the premium service. The price will show up as 'free' for this second installation.

Now all users on the first and second consoles will have access to the Battlefield 3 premium service. This includes expansion packs, special in-game content, access to double XP events, dog tags, assignments, queue priority and other premium-only perks. All the benefits of Battlefield 3 premium service can be found here.

Note: If you use the Playstation store instead of the in-game store, you may be charged twice. Ensure you only use the in-game store when purchasing and installing premium.

Another important piece of information to note is that if you delete your account from either console, BF3 premium is deleted as well. You need to keep your account on both playstations to be able to use the content. You will have to re-download Battlefield 3 premium if you delete your user account from one console. If you remove your user account from both playstations, you will need to re-purchase premium.

Some people have been having problems downloading the content twice. This usually occurs if your account is activated on other consoles. Sony only allows users to share the premium service on two playstation consoles. If you encounter this problem, you may need to deactivate your account from other playstation systems.

Note: When downloading upcoming content, you will need to sign into the account that originally purchased Battlefield 3 Premium, otherwise you will receive the message 'Content not available at this time. Please try again later'.
