How to Keep Your Bathroom Looking Clean ALL the Time
No one likes cleaning bathrooms. It is quite possibly one of the most hated places in the home to clean and it can easily go unattended for weeks. With these simple steps you can make keeping your bathroom presentable much easier and it will require less time then you might imagine.
Things You Will Need
Cleaning wipes kept in the bathroom at all times.
Windex kept under the sink.
One roll of paper towels kept under the sink.
Comet or something like it kept under the sink.
Toilet brush
Step 1
The best time to clean your toilet (or bathroom in general) is when you are already in there to use it. If you go to use the restroom and notice that the toilet is in need of a minor (or major) cleaning, take 60 seconds to quickly grab the Comet and toilet brush and get to work! It won't take more then a minute and you will be happy to have it done. Doing this whenever you see a problem begin to appear will help keep your toilet bowl clean and stain free for a long time.
Step 2 The Windex (or other glass cleaning product) is of course for the mirror. This should not need to be cleaned too often, but if you are brushing your teeth, or washing your hands, take the time for a quick wipe down. It will take you between 30-60 seconds and won't need to be done again for a couple weeks or more.
Step 3
The cleaning wipes have two purposes. One, to quickly wipe the sink...second...to quickly wipe the toilet seat. We all know that dust and soap and dirt in general can accumulate around and on your sink. with those quick cleaning wipes you can easily wipe clean your sink in less then a minutes time leaving it sparkling. The same goes for the toilet seat. If there are men in the house the toilet seat can become a place of disgust rather fast. Keeping those wipes handy, maybe even placing them on the toilet tank, will make it easy to quickly wipe up a mess as soon as you see it.
I closing I would like to add that these are steps you could also use in your kitchen. Keeping simple cleaning tools at the ready is good for more then just the bathroom!
