How to Listen to Your Vonage Voicemail

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Vonage is a type of Voice Over Internet Protocol service (VoIP), which lets you make phone calls over your high-speed Internet connection with a regular land line phone for a low monthly fee. If you make a lot of calls from your house, or run a business out of your home, Vonage is a cost-effective choice. There are three ways to check your voicemail on Vonage: online, through the Vonage phone or through a non-Vonage telephone.

Check Voicemail Using Your Vonage Phone

Step 1

Pick up the receiver on your Vonage phone and dial *123. This brings you to the Vonage PIN prompt.

Step 2

Enter your PIN using your phone's keypad. If you have not yet set one, you need to use the default PIN given to you by the company. Check your email from Vonage for this number.

Step 3

Press the "1" key to hear your new voicemail messages. Press "2" to hear your saved messages, and "3" to hear deleted messages, which are stored for up to 24 hours.

Step 4

Follow the prompts to save or delete your voicemail messages after you listen to them.

Step 2

Click the "Voicemail" link on the toolbar. A list of your messages appears on the screen with a link that says "Listen" next to each one.

Step 3

Select your phone number from the drop-down menu that appears.

Step 4

Go to "Folder > Online Account Inbox."

Step 5

Go to "New > File Download > Open" to hear your new voicemails or "Save" to save them on your computer. Click on "Listen" next to the older, saved voicemails if you want to hear them again. All messages are stored in your account unless you send them to the "Trash" section.
