How to Lose Belly Fat
Things You Will Need
To lose belly fat you will need a lot of dedication, a bit of effort and a whole lot of persistence.Step 1 Drink Water - This step seems so simple yet most overweight people do not drink enough water. Drinking water has the unique ability to reduce your appetite. It helps your body metabolize fat and keeps vital organs functioning at full capacity.
Many times you will mistake being thirsty with being hungry. By drinking sufficient amounts of water you may find yourself eating less; which will help you lose belly fat fast.
Step 2 Create a Caloric Deficit - To burn belly fat, your body must burn more calories than it consumes. To do this, monitor the amount of calories you are eating on a daily basis. In most cases, you will find that you are actually eating about 20 - 50% more than you think you are. Keeping a food journal is a great way to track your caloric intake.
Once you have determined how much you are consuming, you need to figure out if that amount is less than your body is burning. If not, you either need to increase your cardio or reduce your food intake. It is a matter of math, which cannot be ignored.
Step 3 Exercise - Perform moderate levels of cardio 30 to 45 minutes at least 4 times a week. Do not just go through the motions. Increase your heart rate and work up a sweat.
I cannot tell you how many people I have watched over the past 12 months that are a the gym everyday, but never seem to lose any weight. While they may be working out, there are not taking advantage of what may be the best way to lose belly fat.
If you are looking for shortcuts to lose belly fat fast, you may be looking for a while. Put in a time and effort and soon you will have the body you have always wanted.
