If you enjoy writing, you'll be happy to know that there are a number of ways that you can make blogging money by keeping weblogs, or blogs, online.

Things You Will Need

Content for your blog
Paid hosting (optional)
Personal Domain (optional)

Step 1

To begin making blogging money, you'll need to set up a blog. You can either use a free hosted blog with Blogger or Wordpress, or you can purchase your own hosting on a domain name of your choice. For hosting I recommend Hostgator because you can host an unlimited number of domains there for less than $8 a month. For domains, I recommend GoDaddy. They're always having specials on domains.

Step 2

Next, you'll need to get some content up on your blog. You won't be able to make blogging money with any of the following resources until you have some content (or blog posts) up on your blog. You can write the blog posts yourself, or you can outsource it - hire somebody else to write them for you.

Step 3

Add Google Adsense to your blog. You will need to create an account if you don't already have one. These are ads that will display ads related to the content you have posted on your blog. When a visitor clicks on an ad, you'll make some money.

Step 4

Create niche blogs. A niche can be anything you have an interest in - preferably something that you can easily monetize with Google Adsense and related affiliate links. For more information on niche blogging, I highly recommend The Niche Blogger by Amy Bass. I personally use her system and have created a number of blogs that are beginning to make me blogging money. You can get a free 3 day trial and can cancel at anytime if you find it's not for you. She actually makes over $5000 a month blogging and she shows you exactly what she has done to be so successful.

Step 5

Sign up for paid-to-blog sites like Payperpost or Smorty. Each site will have their own acceptance requirements prior to you being able to get work. Once accepted, you will have access to the assignments that are available to you. To learn more in detail, read each website's FAQ section. Blogging money is yours for the taking, all you have to do is take action and keep working to build up your blogging network.
