Foolproof Sticky Buns

   Oh yum, nothing beats a good sticky bun for breakfast. This recipe is so easy the kids will want to help. Not only that, the smell of these rolls baking will get the sleepy heads up a lot quicker.  Make ahead the night before, pop in the oven while the coffee is brewing.

            First off you'll need:
            2 tablespoons butter, softened
            2 tablespoons brown sugar
            1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
            1/2 cups chopped pecans, optional
            1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

           Step 1... In a small bowl combine all the above ingredients and  spread in a 8x8x2 inch baking pan.
            Step 2...Unroll 1 package (10 ounce) refrigerated bread loaf. Press the seams together. This will form a rectangle ready for the filling mix.

            Filling mix:
            3 tablespoons butter, softened
            1/2 cup brown sugar
            1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

            Step 1...Combine and spread on the dough. Roll up from the long side, jelly roll fashion, pinch edges to seal.
           Step 2... Cut crosswise into 9 pieces; place cut side down in prepared baking pan.

            Step 3...Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

            Step 4...Invert baking pan onto a large plate or a sheet of foil. After 1 minute remove baking pan.  Serve warm.
