How to Make Money Blogging
Blogging is a heaven sent way of making money online. According to www.internetworldstats.com, in September 2009 1,734 million
people used the internet. If you write content on blogs sites you are
bound to get a percentage of people viewing your content and clicking
on your adsense ads. Some people are skeptical because they think that
if blogging is so great then everyone is doing it. And if everyone is
doing it,how is there room for me. The truth is there is and will
always be room for new information online. There is enough work for
every one who puts in the work and not everyone is willing to do that.
So how can you make money blogging? You must first find a host (ie. Info Barrel, Ehow, Bukisa,
etc.) Sign up for the account, read terms and conditions. Get familiar
with the way the site works. You can get paid when you write an
article, when someone clicks on your adsense ads and on Info Barrel and
Bukisa you can get paid for referrals. Remember, the more you write quality articles, the more you get paid.
What to do:
1)
Write passionately. When you write from the soul you get more hits,
your information gets shared and as a result you make more money.
2)
Write often. If you are going to do this you may as well go for it.
Hustle! why not write 3 - 5 articles a day. Sure, you may have to start
off
with one article a day until you get practice to write quality
articles fast. But at least try to go faster every time you write.
Because it is
about quantity and quality.
3) Do research,
keep your mind open to learn new things. After all this is how you can
continue to come up with great content time after time.
4) Network. People are friendly at Info Barrel and Ehow. Talk to them, grow relationships and learn from them. You'd be surprised as to how that
can pay off in the long run.
5)
Open a Google.com/docs account and write your articles there. Google
docs is a place you can go to create and share your Microsoft (and
other file) documents. Write your articles there just in case one of
your articles get erased. You won't have to start from scratch when you
revise
it.
6) Read and edit. If you are serious about
making money online with blogging you must be professional and produce
well written articles without grammatical errors. We all make mistakes
but reading and editing will dramatically cut down on them.
What not to do:
1) Don't tell people to click on our Google ads. You will get caught and kicked off site.
2) Don't write "spammy
articles" with links to your all your affiliate pages all thought the
article. Read the rules for each site you write for. Most of them will
let you post links in your profile or signature.
3) Don't copy articles you have written for other sites.
4)
At some point in your writing you may decide to write a heavily
opinionated article. I am not saying do not do these as some times they
are necessary. But at times you may have some negative feedback. Do not
let this discourage you from writing. Stay persistent!

I cannot agree more with #4) networking. Learning from others is a great way to improve not only your earnings, but also your overall writing ability.
