If you are looking for residual income the idea to start writing for eHow is a great option. Putting your how to articles online, you are paid when your articles are read and the ads beside the articles are clicked. While it may take a few weeks to start building up income, there isn't any reason you can't make over $500 a month by writing how-to articles on a daily basis. Plus, once you get your account going the only thing left to do is sit back and enjoy the residual income.

Things You Will Need

Need to Write How-to Articles

An Account at eHow

Step 1 Start by sitting down at your computer and take the time to register an account with the eHow website. This will be your personal information, payment information and also your screen name. While your personal info is a no brainer, the idea of a screen name is important as you want people to really remember you and take your information serious.
Step 2

After your account is set up, you need to plan what type of how-to articles you can write to make money at the site. There are dozens of catagories, but that isn't as important as your personal knowledge. You need to write about things you already know.

Step 3 The how-to articles you write need to be broken down into individual steps to make the readers understand how to put things together or be smarter. This can be done by simply writing down what you know and how you logically do things. Follow the boxes that you fill in and after you are done writing, use the spell check to make sure your article is correct.
Step 4 Once you have an article written, you need to place photographs with your eHow article. It is important to have original photos or copyright free photographs so the article is all your work.
Step 5 Now that you have an article on eHow, you now need to place the article into a catagoy so readers can find the article. As you look through the catagories, consider what the premise of the how to is so you can put it in the correct cataogry. For example if your article is about clipping dog nails, you would go to the Pets -> Dog -> Dog health so readers can logically find your article.
Step 6 The final step of putting an article on Ehow is placing keywords in the bottom line. This is a very important step as it is one of the factors you will be paid. Meaning you will need to have strong keywords. Again if you write about clipping dog nails then you would need to have keywords such as dog, dog nails, clipping dog nails nails.
Step 7 Now your eHow article is ready to publish. Once you have pushed the button, you need to check and make sure the how to article on eHow looks correct and reads well

Publishing on eHow is very user friendly and you can make money on this site. However, you should join the Ehow Writers group and write daily to increase your residual income.

true. Save your articles as they will and can delete them at any time, along with the money you earn.

I am still trying to do my due diligence regarding E-How. I seem to be making some nice money off my articles so I am really keeping my fingers crossed.

Very good, solid advice for writing at eHow. It is a good site to make good residual income, despite some glitches.
