Things You Will Need

  • Brown Sugar
  • Almond oil
  • Pumpkin pie seasoning
  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Air tight containers (optional)

Glass jar

Step 1

Gather all of your ingredients in one place and make sure you have the mixing bowl, measuring cups and measuring spoons all within easy reach. If you are going to package the pumpkin pie body scrub to give away as gifts, make sure you have sterilized and air tight containers on hand.

Step 2

Measure out 2 cups of the brown sugar. Place the brown sugar into the mixing bowl.

Step 3

Measure out 3/4 of a cup of the almond oil and add it to the brown sugar in the mixing bowl.

Step 4

Measure out 3 tablespoons of the pumpkin pie seasoning. Add the seasoning to the mixing bowl. If you prefer to use your own top secret or special pumpkin pie seasonings add them into your body scrub at this time.

Step 5

Use your hands to thoroughly mix the pumpkin pie body scrub. Rinse your hands when finished. Continue on with your skin care routine if you made the body scrub for yourself. Store the leftovers, if any, in an airtight container and you can keep it refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Step 6

Spoon the body scrub into the gift jars and seal tightly if giving away as gifts. If it won't be given away immediately, refrigerate it until you can give the pumpkin pie body scrub to the gift recipient.

So, it's only good for 5 days? Darn, guess I'll have to eat it after that!

I was half tempted to figure out how to use the "leftovers" in cookies or bread LOL. But I rarely ever have leftovers, even if it means I have to shower four times a day. It just smells so yummy!

I would have to label it, or my husband and kids would eat it if it's in the frig! I love natural body recipes!
