How to Make Quick and Easy Bacon Wrapped Chicken Roll-Ups
There are so many things to do, and see, and learn in this world that we do not want to waste too many hours in the kitchen. At the same time, we look forward to sitting down to a nutritious and delicious meal at dinnertime. These quick and easy bacon wrapped chicken roll-ups may just fit the bill!
Things You Will Need
6 Skinless boneless chicken breasts1Pkg. 8 oz. cream cheese softened
2 tsp. snipped chives
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 package of bacon
2 tsp. melted butter
1/4 Cup breadcrumbs
1/4 tsp. paprika
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.Step 2
Pound chicken to 1/2 inch thickness between two pieces of plastic wrap.Step 3
Spread cream cheese on chicken. Make it as thin or thick as you like. Top with chives. Roll up to enclose filling.Step 4
Sprinkle with pepper and wrap with bacon. Some people may use one slice, others may go for the gusto and use up to 3-4 pieces of bacon per chicken roll-up.Step 5
Place rolls serve side down in baking dish. Bake for 35 minutes.Step 6
In a small bowl, mix butter and breadcrumbs.Step 7
Preheat broiler. Broil the chicken roll-ups 3 minutes on each side to crisp bacon. Remove from oven and sprinkle with breadcrumb mixture and paprika.Served with a baked potato or rice, green beans, and a salad, these bacon-wrapped chicken roll-ups are sure to become a family favorite!
