This is a dense very chocolate pound cake.
Great treat for all the chocolate lovers out there.
Awesome served with some hot fudge sauce, whip cream or fruit.
I like it best with fresh strawberries a little whip cream and then drizzled with the fudge sauce.

Chocolate Truffle CAke

Things You Will Need

3- cups white sugar
3/4- cup butter
3- cups all-purpose flour
5- eggs
1/2- teaspoon salt
1- cup milk
1- teaspoon baking soda
1- teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2- cup baking cocoa
electric mixer, large bowl, 8-to 9-cup bundt pan

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter the bundt pan.

Step 2

In the large bowl, cream the butter with electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each one. Add the milk and vanilla and beat mixture until well blended.

Step 3

Add the sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa. Beat for 3-more minutes, again until smooth. Pour into buttered bundt pan, and bake for 1-hour and 5 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pan for 25-minutes. invert on to serving plate and cool completely.
