You can easily make a cleansing facial mask with cucumber with things you probably have on hand. There's no need to spend an outrageous amount of money at a store on a facial mask that you can make for pennies and that will be better for your skin care since it will not have chemicals in it.

Things You Will Need

  • Small cucumber
  • Plain yogurt
  • 1 Large AA grade egg
  • Lemon juice
  • Blender or potato masher
  • Measuring spoons
  • Bowl
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Spatula

Step 1 Thoroughly wash and peel the small cucumber that you will be using in your facial mask. Slice the cucumber up and place it in the blender or a bowl and mash. If using a blender, cover, turn on and puree the cucumber. It is fine if there are very small clumps left in as long as the overall consistency resembles puree.
Step 2 Crack the egg open. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white. Add only the egg white to the pureed or mashed cucumber.
Step 3 Measure out 2 1/2 tablespoons of the plain yogurt. Add the yogurt to the blender or to the bowl.
Step 4 Measure out 1 3/4 teaspoons of the lemon juice. Add the lemon juice to the blender or to the bowl.
Step 5 Cover the blender. Turn the blender on and mix the ingredients of your face mask thoroughly. Transfer into a bowl, using a spatula to scrape the blender sides.
Step 6 Apply the facial mask to your face with fingertips; work in circular motions until the entire face is covered. Avoid the eye area.
Step 7 Gently rinse the cucumber facial mask off with warm water after 15 minutes. Pat your face dry. Follow this with your choice of a light moisturizing cream.
