There is no need to spend money when you can make your own moisturizing facial cleanser at home. Many of the items that you need may already be in your kitchen cabinet or refrigerator.

Things You Will Need

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Blender
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Measuring spoons
  • Measuring cups
  • Small cucumber
  • Yogurt
  • Oatmeal
  • Sunflower oil
  • Honey

Step 1 Measure out and pour 1 cup oatmeal into the blender. Cover and turn the machine on. Mix until the oatmeal has become mostly dust. Oatmeal, when used in facial cleansers, cleans, exfoliates and helps relieve dry skin.
Step 2 Measure out and pour 1/2 cup of plain yogurt and add. Cover and puree the yogurt and oatmeal together. Yogurt is also known for its moisturizing properties.
Step 3 Wash, peel and slice the small cucumber length wise. Add to the blender. Cover and mix until pureed. It will be done when all of the items are chopped up so small and so well mixed together that it looks like you have a thin lotion or facial moisturizer in the blender.
Step 4 Measure out 2 tablespoons each of both sunflower oil and honey and pour into the blender. Turn the blender on and blend until the mixture is creamy.
Step 5 Pour mixture into a clean bowl.
Step 6 Scoop some of the facial cleanser out with your fingers and apply to skin. Work in small circular motions as you apply the cleanser to the entire face.
Step 7 After 3 minutes, gently rinse the moisturizing facial cleanser off with a soft wash cloth or splash your face with warm water. Make sure all of the mixture is rinsed from your skin. Splash face with cool water to close pores.
