How to Plan a New Zealand Honeymoon

By Edited Jun 19, 2015 0 0

Imagine, being just married and on a New Zealand honeymoon, surrounded by the beauty you are familiar with in Lord Of The Rings.

A honeymoon in New Zealand will offer you two destinations to see, the North Island and the South Island.

No matter where you choose to go, you will find the most fabulous cuisine, incredible hotels or bungalows, or whatever you choose. They have it all because so many are drawn there by its beauty.

Transportation is never a problem, as there are numerous options available.

If I were to choose, I would be spending my New Zealand honeymoon on the beach, staying in a cozy lodge or beach house. We would have a couple of motorcycles to see the beautiful New Zealand countryside, or maybe take a helicopter ride.

Maybe you will want to go for some adventure, there is tons of wildlife to explore. If you want to stay more with the cultural scene, check out the tourist attractions, learn about the Maori culture. They have some fabulous art galleries and museums.

With the unlimited number of outdoor activities and along with their breathtaking scenery, you can't go wrong . They have a nickname of "The Kiwi" which is the country's symbol of a very strange but gentle flightless bird. Well, in "The Kiwi" you will love the amazing wildlife and the lush forests make it a wonderful place for a honeymoon to play and unwind.

As far as the play goes, you can do anything from swimming with the dolphins in the beautiful bay, or maybe bungee jumping or skiing.

How about a boat cruises on the fjords or just hiking on the great walking trails. The South Island is the place to go for these type of adventures, where the North Island will offer you the charm of the big cities and shopping that is totally unique to New Zealand.

These are just a few of the reasons for spending your romantic honeymoon getaway in one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
