How to Reduce Wrinkles By Eating Soy

By | 2 Comments | Rating: 1 | |

As people age, they become increasingly concerned with maintaining their youthful appearance and look for ways to reduce lines and wrinkles naturally. One of the foods that reduces wrinkles naturally is Soy. The primary benefit of soy comes from the isoflavens that it contains which are the main wrinkle reducer. In fact, the wrinkle reducing benefits of soy are so impressive that many facial creams and anti-aging beauty products have incorporated soy into their products. But before you spend money on creams to reduce wrinkles, try changing your diet to include more soy. There are many ways that you can add soy to your diet.

  • Drink soy milk instead of regular milk to reduce wrinkles. If you find you don't like drinking soy milk straight, try using soy milk instead of cream in your coffee. You won't even notice the difference. You only need to drink about one cup of soy milk per day to get the benefits of soy.
  • Eat more tofu to reduce wrinkles. Tofu can be added to everything from salads to main dishes. Try several recipes until you find a tofu recipe that you like.
  • Eat soy beans to reduce wrinkles. Soy beans are the original source of soy, and they can be added to soups, salads or eaten plain as a side dish.
  • Eat energy bars that contain soy to reduce wrinkles. Many bars are adding in soy due to its health benefits. Some such as Soy Joy are made almost entirely from Soy.
No matter which soy food you choose to eat, you should aim at consuming 40 mg of soy isoflavens, also called aglycone, per day to begin reducing wrinkles. In just a few short months, you will notice an increased elasticity in the skin and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. And the benefits of soy aren't just for people who already have lines and wrinkles, it is also great at preventing wrinkles in the first place. So even if your face is firm and smooth, adding soy to your diet will ensure that it stays that way.

Although the benefits of soy are just beginning to be understood, there are also some negative aspects as well. Consumption of too much soy has been linked to breast cancer. So it's important to stay within the 40 mg per day recommendation to benefit from soy's wrinkle reducing properties while reducing the negative side effects.

Very nice article. I am a believer in soy. I do at least a cup of soy milk a day and sometimes other soy products. Thanks for the info.
