It's easy to get deep discounts at Disneyland Resort hotels. These include Paradise Pier, the luxurious Grand Californian in California Adventure, and the classic Disneyland Hotel itself.
Things You Will NeedDisneyland annual pass
Step 1If you already have tickets in hand (5 day Park Hoppers, for example), before you leave, visit the Annual Pass Office just inside the entrance to Disneyland. There you can apply credit from the tickets you bought towards annual passes good for the next 12 months. You may have already paid most of the cost of an annual pass, especially if you purchased Park Hoppers for several days.
If you have not purchased park tickets yet, buy annual passes online at the Disneyland site.
Step 2Register on the Disneyland Annual Passholder page. (Click on "Annual Passholders" on the main Disneyland page). Have your annual pass ready for the registration process.
Step 3Click on "Hotel Availability Calendar" after registering and logging in. You will see the dates and rates for all three on-property resort hotels, and you can make reservations on the spot. During off-season, you will see very large discounts -- 40% to 50% or more off. The amazing Grand Californian resort may be too expensive for you normally, but during the summer with an annual pass discount, it may very well fit your pocketbook.
Step 4If you want to save even more money, contact the local off-property hotels and ask if they give discounts to annual passholders. Some, such as the Anaheim Howard Johnson, do give passholder discounts, and the savings can be substantial.
Step 5Annual passes carry with them a lot of discounts and privileges, but they're not for everyone. If they're not right for you, check Expedia for discounts at Disneyland resort hotels and nearby properties.
By using your annual pass discounts at the right time of the year, you can save a ton of money at Disneyland.
