Once you have a list of brokers, try to make contact with a representative from each one. Give the agent all of your personal driving information and explain the type of insurance that you feel you need. Be sure to answer any questions they have honestly and accurately. The more information they have about you and your driving habits, the better equipped they will be to help you find the lowest possible insurance rates.

Now you will have to do a bit of waiting while the auto insurance specialists go to work to negotiate the best rates they can for you. The brokers will approach many companies on your behalf until they come up with the best possible offers.

Once you hear back from each of the brokers you contacted, it is time to decide which auto insurance specialist to choose for your coverage. Be sure to compare what each policy offers in the way of deductibles, limitations and coverage as well as the rate itself.
