How to stop excessive sweating? I know all the tricks, wearing multiple shirts, wearing a hoodie when it’s hot outside, and not raising your arms. Fortunately, there’s a better a way….

There are a lot of antiperspirants out there, which promise to stop sweating but, quite simply, don’t do anything. You start wondering if there is some conspiracy against you. You don’t want any regular antiperspirant, you want something, which is prescription strength. Two products, which worked for this author personally, are Certain Dri and Maxim. None of them require a prescription, but are prescription strength. You apply one of these on your underarms before you go to sleep so that the ingredients in them close off your sweat pores. Although, most users of these two products experience some stinging, it goes away in around 5 minutes.

Which is better, Certain Dri or Maxim? You can be your own judge and read these products’ reviews on sites such as Amazon.com and Drugstore.com. In general, both of them work, but for a small minority of users, one of them works a lot better than the other. You’ll also see that Certain Dri comes in liquid and solid form. From my personal experience, both types work the same.

There are other products out there, which may work. Apparently, since my first seeing these two products, new brands have popped up. Whether those other brands work, I don’t know. All I know is that Certain Dri and Maxim are the most popular.

Aside from the aforementioned two products, if you have excessive sweating, you can check out botox injections, laparoscopic surgery, and Drysol, which is an antiperspirant requiring a prescription from your doctor. It is very likely, however, that either Certain Dri or Maxim will work well for you if you want to finally know how to stop excessive sweating.
