Step 1: Minimize the moisture surrounding your habitat. Termites dwell where it is dark and damp. If you have a garden, you might want to do some regular pruning. Sometimes, there are places in the house where junk often gets stored and where infestation can build up unnoticed. Having a regular check up of your house can arrest an infestation in its initial stages and render your home termite-free.
