How to Stretch Your Grocery Money Farther To Save

As we all can see everytime we make a trip to the grocery store, prices are getting higher everyday,especially on meats,But if you are on a tight budget every penny counts and it really helps to be able to save and stretch your grocery money farther.

Look at sales papers to see what is on sale,then by looking at whats on sale plan your meals for the week.

· Step 2

Buy the family packs of meat you get those cheaper on the pound if you buy the larger packs.

· Step 3

Try to limit yourself to 2-3 packs of meat.

· Step 4

Decide at least 2 meals you can do with each of those meats.For example if you buy pork chops have pork chops one night,have porkchops as your meat for breakfast the next morning.Take left over porkchops and cut up into small pieces and add rice,peppers,oninons etc. make a main dish for supper the next night.

· Step 5

With chicken you can have fried chicken one night and the next night fix a chicken casserole recipe You can also take the left over chicken and add rice,peppers etc. and make burritos.

· Step 6

With beef you can have burger one night,tacos the next night,and chilli the next night or meatloaf.

· Step 7

All of this can be done with only buying 3 packs of meat.Chicken,PorkChops and Hamburger.

· Step 8

Choose 3 different meats the next week so you dont get tired of the same meats.

· Step 9

If you can save on your meats the vegetables are much cheaper to buy to go along with them.
