How to Take a Jager Bomb

By | Aug 2, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

One of our favorites drinks back in college was the Jager Bomb! Delicious and nutritious (okay, well, maybe not nutritious), these are definitely one of the more popular shots out there. The Jagermeister alcohol on its own is a bit harsh for most people's tastes, but with Jager Bomb shot glasses, the combo of the mixed drink ingredients make for an excellent flavor outcome.

Here's what you need to take a Jager Bomb shot:

Jager Bomb shot glasses; typically a jager bomb shot glass is a glass that is tall enough to hold at least 20 ounces of fluid and that is wide enough on the bottom that your shot glass can easily rest on the bottom.

Jagermeister hard alcohol. This German alcohol is dark brown, with a thick, almost licorice-like flavor. It is rumored to have deer blood in it, but that is only an urban legend.

A Red Bull or other moderately carbonated beverage. Make sure whatever kind of chaser/mixer you choose to mix with the Jager Bomb, that it is one that you wont mind chugging or drinking quickly.

Here's how to take a Jager Bomb mixed drink shot:

Rally together everyone who plans to take a Jager Bomb (if you are with a group of friends). Gather up your Jager Bomb shot glasses and fill them with your mixer of choice (again, this is usually a Red Bull but you can make do if you prefer something else).

Now, fill your smaller shot glasses with the Jagermeister.

Once you are ready to take your Jager Bomb, grab your mixer filled Jager Bomb shot glasses and drop the shot of Jager into the glass. Instantly drink the contents of the Jager Bomb shot glasses. You have now taken a Jager Bomb.

The Jager Bomb is an easy to drink, tasty treat that should be enjoyed in moderation. Alcohol can be dangerous and should not be abused. There is nothing fun or glamorous about a nasty hangover or a DUI on your record. Always enjoy your alcoholic beverages responsibly.
