Take a good look at the website. If you have to pay for a product that offers to make you money there is a 99.9% chance that it is a scam. Most of these will not help you in any way shape or form to make money. A website that is free is always your best chance.

Step 2

If you have thoroughly examined the website already and it is free to join, read the website's terms of service. This another easy way to tell if a website is a scam or has the chance of becoming a scam. Any website that's terms of service say

is most likely going to be a scam!

In regards to paid to click sites and other paid to read sites make sure the site is sustainable. For instant, if the site is paying you 1 cent per click and 1 cent per referral click, and is selling ads for $1 per 1000, the site is not sustainable. This means the site is going to close along with everyone's money. A sure sign that a website is a scam will be that it is unsustainable.
