A cheating boyfriend or girlfriend is something we all worry about at one time or another. Not everyone cheats, but if they do, it can cause devastating pain. Maybe he/she's actually working late, or the strange man in her cellphone is actually her brother, but here are some surefire ways to tell if your significant other is cheating. Everyone in the world thinks everyone is cheating. You really need to ask yourself before you put yourself through all the stress that follows. Does she/he love you and if the answer is yes, then he/she is not cheating. Relationships are built around trust, don't let others jeopardize the very trust you built everything around. Instead, try focusing on the good things that your relationship brings to the table. Focus on what makes you and your partner happy and stick with them. But if you yourself are second guessing quite frequently, here are a few tips that might help you.
Pay close attention to their daily routine.
Is he/she coming home later than usual? Generally I wouldn't worry about it. But if it's happening on a consistent basis, pay better attention to it.
Does he/she have problems with letting you check his or her cellphone, email, social networks, etc?
If this is the case, then he/she has something in their phone that they do not want you to see.
Notice if he/she leaves the room to take phone calls.
If you ask who it was, do they respond with "It's nobody"? These are important signs, like number 2, shows signs that your significant other has something to hide.
Have they recently been moody and hasty to start fights?
Sometimes a cheating partner, will try to turn the tables so he/she can place blame on you, to try and cope with his or her guilt.
Has your significant other stopped communicating with you?
If this is the case, you may be losing intimacy. When a relationship loses intimacy, your partner will become distant, and will be reluctant to talk. This is a very important sign.
Are you constantly catching them in lies?
This is a big one, if you are catching your significant other lying on a consistent basis, then you need to be worried. Your relationship was built around trust remember? If they cannot be honest with you, they don't deserve you. Period.
Do they come home with the smell of another person's perfume/cologne?
This is a bit of a cliche, but it's true. If your lover is coming home with the smell of another woman or man's perfume/cologne, then it could be someone that isn't "family". Pay close attention to how they smell especially if they get home late at night.
Keep an eye out for unexpected/unexplained bills.
Are you finding receipts for meals for two, receipts for jewelry, movie tickets, etc? This is a huge sign, especially if no holidays are around the corner.
Do they have other social network/email accounts?
Or begin to, out of nowhere, change their passwords to keep you out of their accounts? Generally, if they didn't give you their password to begin with, this is isn't a problem. But if they've suddenly changed it to protect messages they've written, or chats they've had, you should be aware.
And finally, notice whether he/she begins to buy you gifts out of the blue, or he/she starts casually mentioning an end to your relationship.
Questions such as, "What would you do if we split up," are key hints. Men and women, both, become guilty. They will try to forget their guilt with gifts or other methods trying to justify their acts.
If he/she is cheating, kick 'em to the curb immediately. No one deserves to be cheated on. NO ONE. Get them out of your life and be glad that you did.
As mentioned above, intimacy plays a huge part in a relationship. If your relationship lacks intimacy, you should try to spice it up.
This is mislooked by so many people, but it can literally make or break a relationship or marriage. CLEANING. Yes you read it right, cleaning. Does your partner work long hours and come home to a dirty house and then has to clean? You will be pleasantly surprised in the mood change your partner will have if you clean. It doesn't matter what it is, the dishes, the living room, laundry, etc. Just clean. Your partner will be less stressed out and it will help bring some of that intimacy back. Show you care and clean!
