How to Track your Infobarrel Earnings

When you first start Infobarrel, you may find it hard to figure out how to track your earnings and views through Google Adsense. Read below to find out how to track your Infobarrel Earnings.

Things You Will Need

An infobarrel account. Sign up here.
A Google Adsense account. Sign up here.

Step 1

I recommend that you sign up for a Google Adsense account before signing up for Infobarrel. It does not really matter either way, I just find it easier. You can sign up for an Adsense account here.

Step 2

In order to accumulate earnings from Infobarrel, you must sign up for an infobarrel account. To do so visit her

Step 3

When filling out your Infobarrel information, add your Adsense Publisher account number. You can find this at the top right corner of the Adsense main page after you login. It starts with pub-

Step 4

Now comes the actual actions to track your Infobarrel earnings. FIRST, you must login to your Adsense account. Once there, click on the "Adsense Setup" tab.

Step 5

Once in the "Adsense Setup" tab, click on the "Channels" link under the tabs. You are automatically put in the "Adsense for Content" tab. STAY THERE!

Step 6

Now, under the "Adsense for Content" tab, click on the "URL channels" link beside the "Custom Channels" link. YOU MUST CLICK THE URL CHANNELS LINK for this to work properly.

Step 7

Now that you are in the "URL Channels" link, click on "Add new URL channels".

Step 8

In the text box under "Enter URLs to track, one per line:" type:

http://www.infobarrel.com

Now click "Add channels" underneath the text box.

Step 9

It will take a few hours to register on your Google adsense account. After that, you are all setup and can track your Infobarrel earnings!

If you have any problems, click the "Contact Us" tab at the bottom of the Infobarrel's main page. They are excellent at customer service and can give you great instructions!

I have already done that the same day i signed up for infobarrel. But what i could not figure out is how to set up an analytics account for infobarrel so that i can track the traffic.

Do you know if there's any way to track earnings from the articles of different people who each have separate Info Barrel accounts, but are having all 'clicks/impressions' registered under the same adsense account?

Wouldn't it work to list the complete URL of your article? That is how I set up my channels for my links on Xomba. I can see each separately. Then as long as you know whose article is whose - you can work it out. Only problem is you are limited to a certain number of channels - 200 I think. I was thinking of encouraging my teenage son to write here - and as he is too young to sign up himself for Adsense, that is what I was planning to do.

Very well explained, I didnt know that we could use our own id to refer people in our articles. Is this allowed, and what about for joining other writing places can we use our referral to them.
