The hardest part about fundraising for your charity or non-profit organization is soliciting fundraising help.

You can’t raise the money all on your own—you need people who are well connected to get in touch with the “right” people within the community. And that can often be a problem.

The solution, however, isn’t in tracking down all the “right” people anymore. In fact, in today’s world, soliciting fundraising help can be as easy as hopping on the computer and surfing the world wide web.

You see, the internet isn’t only a plethora of information. It’s also an excellent source of programs, software and connections to people across the business world, including many philanthropists. And your options for reaching out to these people are varied and useful.

They not only include the many social media options available, but also advertising on web sites and most importantly, online fundraising outlets that help you earn cash by building an online shopping network.

You might not imagine it, but the financial power of online shoppers in today’s marketplace is more than double the financial power of your strongest community ally. And why? Because when you’re online, you’re global.

That means you’re soliciting fundraising help from people all around the world. And you’re not only soliciting their help in building your organization and your donation cash flow, but you’re also getting them to support you financially as well.

The important thing to remember as you search for ways to solicit fundraising help is that help can come from anywhere. This doesn’t have to be an overwhelming topic.

You can track down the top of the heap in your hometown, but don’t forget to supplement (not replace) their efforts with fundraising tactics you can only use online.
