How to keep Dumpster Demolition Waste Clean

When doing any demolition, it is imperative to try and keep your dumpster from getting to filthy. Because of the fact that it may take awhile to remove the dumpster from the demolition location, you want to try to prevent any objects from rotting and creating a fowl smell. The following are tips for both the waste haulers as well as the customers alike to try and help keep the dumpster clean.

Tips for waste haulers:

  • Provide tarps for each dumpster.
  • A small deposit fee can be added if necessary to compensate the cost of the tarps.
  • Educate the customer to secure the tarps over the dumpster.
  • Provide properly labeled containers so that customers can differentiate those meant for recyclable materials and garbage.

Tips for the customers of waste haulers
  • The trap over the dumpster must be secured after the day's trash is collected.
  • Have the dumpster removed once the job is done.
  • Inform the neighbors clearly that the dumpster is for a specific project and not for a community clean up.
