How to do easy meditation?
Things You Will Need
A quiet place for yourself. An object to focus on. A few minutes of your time.
Step 1 Sit in a quiet place and relax your body in a comfortable posture.Step 2 Focus on an object of your choice. It can be a picture, or a branch of a tree outside a window, or even your own breathing.
Step 3 Do not try to think about anything else. Watch and observe only the object. If it is a flower or a branch, focus on the texture, color or form. If your focusing on your breathing, you can close your eyes. Just observe and be aware.Step 4 When other thoughts interfere, either ignore them or just let them pass. If your mind wanders away, bring back the focus to the object.
This practice might be difficult the first few times, for our mind is always wandering and thinking. But constant effort put in keeping the thoughts away or trying to ignore them will slowly reduce the number of thoughts that keep interfering. As a result you will experience more peace and calmness.
