The reverse crunch is one of the best exercises to do for the lower abs. It’s not easy toning this area and there are not many exercises that deliver such good results. This exercise alone will not only give you the abs you desire, team it up with a good diet too.

1. Start with laying down on a comfortable mat or carpet. Place hands under your hips. Extend legs outwards with a slight bend in the knees.

2. Next you will need to tighten and tense your abs. Bring your legs towards your chest. Do bring the legs as close to your chest as possible. When you can no longer bring them any closer you will need to bring your hips off the ground to give yourself a final ‘push’.

3. Lastly you will need to lower your legs back down. Do this slowly and in a controlled manner. While doing this keep your abs tight.

4. Repeat 10-15 times.

Breathing correctly is essential. Repeat the reverse crunch as often as you can to get the best results. Good luck!
