How to get rid of hiccups

I always get the hiccups, at least once a week. I have tried everything to make them go away. Here is a list of what I've tried.

1. This one always works for me. Chug an entire can of clubsoda without stopping, its hard to do but it must be done inorder to get rid of the hiccups. It works for me everytime.

2. Eat a tablespoon of peanut butter, it sticks to the roof of your mouth but it works!

3. Try drinking a glass of water upside down.

4. Let an ice cube dissolve in your mouth and don't spit it out even if you get brain freeze.

5. Try taking really deep breaths and relaxing.

6. Count backwards from 100 by 7, it will distract you and you might forget about the hiccups.

7. Try eating a saltine cracker and whisling at the same time, but without any water.

8. Swallow a tablespoon of lemon juice, and try not to cringe.

9. Get someone to scare you, it works sometimes

10. If all else fails take a shot of whiskey and hope they go away soon!
