How to have Warm Hands in Winter
If your hands are cold, the rest of your body can start feeling cold as well. You can try wearing gloves, but in extreme temperatures, the negative temperatures without including wind chill which some places get for months at a time, can be devastating for your poor hands. If being cold outside isn't your idea of a fun day, try doing this to keep those hands(and even your feet) warm.
Things You Will Need
Gloves
Two swatches of fabric
Oxygen activated hand warmers
Step 1
Purchase oxygen activated hand warmers.
Step 2
Measure the size of the hand warmer.
Step 3
Cut a piece of fabric out just slightly bigger than the measurements.
Step 4
Turn your gloves inside out.
Step 5
Sew the piece of fabric into the part of the glove that lays on top of your hand.
Step 6
Turn your gloves right side out again.
Step 7
When you are ready to go out, unpackage one of the hand warmers and slide it into the pocket you made inside your gloves.
Step 8
Slide gloves on normally and you'll have warm hands all day.

Tips & Warnings
This can also be done for socks. Sew the pocket into the sock so that the hand warmer will sit on top of your foot.
