How to identify a liar
All people lie at some point in their life. Lying is in the human nature and nobody can claim that they never lied. Scientists have classified liars into categories according to the frequency and purpose of the lies.
This post is about the different types of liars. Knowing and being able to identify the different liar types will assist you on how to tell if someone is lying.
Lying occasionally
In this category there are the people who at some point their life lied. These people are not accustomed to lying, but occasionally may do it to either protect their self or someone else. They fear the truth and they are lying in order not to face reality. They are trying to make up stories and tell lies that are believable. You can identify the occasional liars from their body language.
Lying frequently
In this category there are people who are accustomed in lying regularly. These people because they are lying very frequently do not have the time to thing about their lies. This makes them easy to identify since they fall into contradictions all the time.
Lying naturally
These people have a habit in lying all the time and the worse thing is that they do no understand that they are doing it. They make up stories and believe them and they try to convince other people too. The only way to identify natural liars is to make them pressing questions and watch their body language when they reply.
Lying professionally
In this category they are the people who are lying for a purpose. They do what they do just to trick people and convince for something that it is not true. A perfect example of professional liars is politicians. Most of the times they know that they are lying but they do it for the purpose of convincing people to vote them. Professional liars are vey good in lying and their body language looks natural when they do it. You can only identify them if they make a mistake or fall into an obvious contradiction.
