How to lose weight my way

In this article, I will summarize my method of losing weight, as well as give my personal opinion on other methods of weight loss.

To start, you need to realize that you need to lose weight, and you have to be dedicated; as simple as this sounds it is one of the hardest parts. You need to envision yourself thinner, fitter, and feeling better all the time. Now, to get into the heart of the article.

The main point that I want to stress is that eating less is a must, no matter what anyone tells you, eating less is the most important part. With that being said, though, eating enough is important. If you do not eat enough, your body will enter what is called "famine mode." In this state, your body will realize that you are not getting enough energy, and will store all food taken in as fat, rather than being excreted. The main part of this is protein. Protein makes you feel fuller for longer, as well burning fat cells in your body and building up muscle cells. Now for some small tips:

1. Get a decent multivitamin. Multivitamins aid in weight loss and in my personal experience, make me feel better all around.

2. Fish oil pills. Fish oil speeds up metabolism and helps to burn fat, because it contains good fats that aid in heart health and lowering cholesterol.

With the aid of these two, it may aid you lose more weight. 

Now to the part everyone talks about: eating less. Eating less is important, and you may have heard of a thing called a "Calorie deficit," which is burning more calories than you take in. If you think about it logically, eating low-calorie foods and doing calorie burning exercises. When you create a calorie deficit, your body will draw upon the fat in your body for the remaining energy, therefore eating away at the fat in your body. A good way to keep track of all this is to track calories. There are many ways to do this, and no matter how you do it; it is important to losing weight.

Another thing to take into account is the water intake. Water will increase your metabolism and keep you feeling full for longer. A majority of hunger pangs are actually  thirst, so if you are hungry, drink something and analyze if you are actually hungry or not. There have been studies on the effects of water and drinking cold water. It has been observed that drinking cold water forces the body to burn calories in order to warm the water inside of you, although there have been some arguments that these calories are negligible, it can't hurt.

Another major factor in weight loss is cutting out fluid calories. Fluid calories are pointless since they don't make you feel full, and are mainly loaded with sugars. Even diet pops and sodas are bad for you, as the artificial sugars inside them make you feel hungry when you drink them. 

As you can see, diet is a major role in weight loss, but it is not the thing. Working out is as important. Breaking a sweat everyday will assist tremendous amounts in weight loss. Along with cardio workouts, you should incorporate some resistance training as well. Resistance training will build muscle, and muscle aids in the burning of fat in the body. You should also know to switch up your cardio routine every few days; because after a few days of the same thing, you body will get used to the workout and actually burn fewer calories while doing that excercise, making your workout less efficient.

There are many articles online about different ways to life weights and what to do when lifting them. I will not describe them here, as there are an infinite number of other websites to search for, with more detailed information than I can give you.
