How to lose weight without going on a diet

By Edited Jul 1, 2015 0 0

Myths about weight loss. Most people believe that you gain weight because you are eating too many fat filled foods but this isn't the case at all, your body starts to store food if you skip meals and just because you are eating junk foods, doesn't mean you are gaining weight, it's the amount of junk food that you eat.

Moderating certain foods. Junk food isn't the main reason that you gain weight, it's the amount of junk food that you are eating and over indulging that causes you to gain weight. So instead of eating an entire box of donuts or entire bag of chips, instead eat a handful of chips or one donut, this way you can satisfy your craving without gaining weight.

Eat smaller portions more often. Your metabolism goes into a resting state if you skip meals and stops burning calories, which is why it's important to eat a lot of meals in small portions throughout the day or a ton of snacks as apposed to 3 really large meals. This way you can keep your metabolism active all day and burning calories while making sure you don't get hungry.

Supplements to control appetite. Fiber is one supplement that can help you lose weight by normalizing bowel movements and getting rid of excess waste that your body takes in during the day. Green tea extracts can also help you lose weight by increasing your body's ability to burn calories and helping other organs do their job. Conjugated linoleic acid is a great weight loss supplement that works with your body to help burn calories and get rid of excess waste.

Don't eat before bed. Before you go to bed, your metabolism enters a resting state, which means everything you eat before you go to bed will not get burned as efficiently as meals eaten throughout the day. This is why athletes and body builders looking to gain weight eat a lot of foods right before they go to bed.

Never skip breakfast. It's no myth that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because if you skip breakfast and eat lunch, you may think you are losing weight but in fact you are putting your body into storage mode and everything else you eat throughout the day will be deposited into storage centers for later consumption, this will certainly cause you to gain weight.
