Increase HDL cholesterol. HDL is known as good cholesterol, which decreases LDL levels. If LDL levels are too high, your arteries can become blocked. Which is why high HDL is a good thing. HDL is the like the white blood cells that attack the bad things in your blood.

Decrease LDL cholesterol. LDL cholesterol is a significant factor in people with high cholesterol. Foods that are low in saturated fat and high in soluble fiber help in lowering LDL. Also, exercise and body stretching can help in reducing LDL cholesterol.

Excercise to help lower cholesterol. You need to exercise at least once per day for 15 minutes of cardio. Try to stretch or do yoga to increase blood flow and stretch muscles. Don't over-work your heart if you're not used to regular exercise.

Reduce stress. Stress is directly related to high blood pressure. Take regular breaks if needed during the day to reduce stress. It's all about giving your body and mind frequent breaks. If you can take two to three walks per day, you can significantly improve your health and reduce stress.

Drink plenty of water. Water is good to drink because of its ability to cleanse your system and organs. You are also consuming a lot less carbs and other harmful toxins. Try to drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day, because this is the amount your body needs to cleanse key organs.
