Rich, chocolatey fudge is definitely hard to resist, epecially when you're trying to stick to your diet. Rather than sabotage all your hard work, try whiping up some healthy protein fudge. This chocolate treat tastes decadant but actually has the same nutritional value as a simple protein shake. You can eat these treats without feeling an ounce of guilt because they are actually good for you.

Things You Will Need

Protein powder

1/4 cup natural peanut butter

1/3 cup water

Step 1

Measure four scoops of chocolate protein powder into a mixing bowl. Make sure that you are using a good tasting protein powder. If the protein taste bad when mixed with water, it will make your fudge taste bad too.

Step 2

Add 1/4 cup natural peanut butter to the protein powder. Choose natural peanut butter as it doesn not contain any added sugars. You will probably have to stir the peanut butter before you try to measure it as it will separate over time.

Step 3

Fill a 1/3 cup measuring cup with water. Add about half of the water to the protein powder and peanut butter. Stir everything together. Add more water as necessary to create the consistency of brownie batter.

Step 4

Spoon the protein fudge into muffin tins sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. This will fill approximately four normal size muffin cups or 12 mini-muffin cups.

Step 5

Place the fudge into a freezer for at least two hours. When the fudge is frozen, use a butter knife to pop them out of the tins and enjoy! Array

Tips & Warnings

You can use different flavors of protein powder or other types of nut butter such as almond butter or cashew butter to create a variety of fudge flavors.
