Tuna lasagna is a great meal for the family. It is also very healthy. You can easily make tuna lasagna that is delicious and your whole family, including your picky eater will love it.

Things You Will Need

4 red peppers
Half cup of olive oil
1 large box of lasagna noodles
1 36 ounce can of tuna in water
2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 tablespoon of vinegar
Half cup of fresh dill
3 cups of arugula
1/3 cup fresh chives

Step 1

First, preheat your boiler on low.

Step 2

Once your broiler is pre heated place peppers in, turning every 5 minutes for 20 minutes and until they are brown.

Step 3

Place the peppers in a bowl until they are cooled. Peel the charred skin off of the peppers and remove stems and seeds. Be sure to keep your stems and seeds separated so your main peppers don't get mixed together.

Step 4

Coat a baking sheet well with olive oil so the lasagna noodles doesn't stick. Olive oil is a much better ingredient to use instead of butter as it is healthier for your body.

Step 5

Cook the lasagna noodles for 12 minutes and rinse. It is important to not cook your lasagna noodles for the full amount of time because you want your noodles to be somewhat uncooked yet.

Step 6

Mix tuna, dill, fresh lemon juice and a quarter of a cup of olive oil in a bowl. Season this mix with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7

Blend peppers in a blender until they liquefy. Combine vinegar and a pinch of salt. Pour the other half of the vinegar in and blend for 30 seconds. Do not blend for more than the recommended time as your mix may be too watery.

Step 8

Place first layer of lasagna on baking sheet. Top with tuna, arugula and pepper sauce. Repeat two times so you have a stacked lasagna meal.

Step 9

Place in broiler for 15 minutes and enjoy warm. This lasagna tastes great with buttered garlic bread. Many people also enjoy eating their lasagna and garlic bread with a glass or red wine.

This tuna lasagna is a pretty easy recipe for the most part. Start getting your family to eat healthy again by substituting their beef lasagna with tuna. They will definitely thank you for it.
